I'm a regular. Breakfast is very good. Never had any major issues - had one issue with slow service once -- but other than that always been nice experience. Food quality and quantity good - especially for price - highly recommend this nice little diner
The fact that they are only open during the week my husband and I ate there yesterday. The sandwiches were delicious. The service was great! It's a locals place. We will be back!

This place is literally the best restaurant in Charlottesville. From the warm welcomes when you open the door, to the friendly service, and delicious food I don't know why anyone would want to go anywhere else. This place treats everyone like family, whether you're a new customer or old. I wish everyone has the pleasure of meeting Mr.Templeton and his wife. Wonderful and caring people!!!
I lived in C'Ville from 2002-2011 and The Korner was by far my favorite diner not only there, but anywhere. The breakfast and lunch...amazing. The staff, amazing. Best burger in Charlottesville (sorry, Riverside). I so miss the food and the staff and not necessarily in that order.
Great service and great staff. Tammy was our great server and the other staff was attentive as well. Solid traditional breakfast food. Plan to go back soon. Four of us in our party, two had omelets, one biscuit and gravy, one two eggs with fried bologna and potatoes. Everyone loved their meals. Portions were big and didn't need lunch!
Today is bitter sweet, as I come through for breakfast on my last day in town for a bit. I have never had a better cheeseburger, but what even more impressive is the price point. The service is amazing as always, we were all on first name basis and they always made sure my order was correct. For a diner, it's clean and bustling. I wish I could give this more stars. But to prove my point more, I ordered "to go" and stayed for the company.
